Happy New Year !!
Difficult time the Holiday time...
After spending a voluptuous Christmas in New York City, I traveled to Europe where I spent a lot of time eating and enjoying chocolates for the New Year; Since I came back, it sounds that January is only dedicated to celebrations: my citizenship, New Year, work achievements, Birthdays, etc...So it sounds extraordinary that I did not gain weight ! But it considerably slowed down my routine losing...
January starts at 177 Lbs. I started again my dance classes (probably it helped maintaining a weight balance)
January 15: 177 Lbs. I talked to my yoga instructor, Anil, and he advises me to start a 16 hours a day fasting diet: Basically, you eat normally (no sugar) for 8 hours, then drink only for 16 hours per day. Let say you have breakfast at 7 am, you stop eating after 3 pm, and only have drinks like tea, light broth, lot of water after. I think I can do that during the week because I have my dance classes and after sweating for more than one hour, I am very thirsty and can drink and go to bed. It will be more difficult during the week-ends, or if I am invited for dinner....
January 20: 176 Lbs. Just saw 175 in a flash, but it stabilized on a small 176 :)
January 25 : 175 Lbs.
I have been doing the 16 hours diet/24 h since 10 days already , and it is extremely difficult and tiring. I am exhausted and starving, and am going to stop. I can reduce my dinners, but systematically skipping them is no good for me. I have to re-balance a more normal diet. And I am actually craving for fruits, so my body probably needs nutrients and vitamins that I did not have lately. January has been a back to routine and hopefully I will continue losing weight slowly.
January 31st: 176 Lbs
